20th October- First filming in the Barn
This was our first panned filming session. We were well equiped with cameras, tripods, stabalizers, special effects and other litle props such as aprons. We arrived at a barn owned by a family friend of Isaac's. We used the barn to shoot our 'torture scene' and the scene with Jak covered in blood. This went very well and our preparation was put to good use. We also got a friend to help and be a extra cameraman.

10th November - Church and Graveyard
Our seccond filming session was the least effective. This was because of the problems occured with filming and sound I will go into detail below. None of the footage from this filming day was not included however I will put a link to some of the removed footage so you can see what went wrong for yourself.
For our film trailer idea, we wanted a councelling scene at the start to give the audience information about what is happening in the most clear way possible, through dialogue. We brought sqripts and costumes to our filming location, which was a church. We were fortunate enough that the church Isaac goes to agreed to let us use one of their rooms for filming. However this was not a stereotypical church it was more of a 'modern church' meaning that the room we used could have been a room from anywhere, infact it was actually quite suited to what a councollers room would have looked like in real life. When we were planning the councelling scene I had in my mind a picture of the scene from 'The Sopranos' which maybe didnt help because it wasn't a realistic setting we were going to aquire for our student project.
As for filming wise, we did a great job in filming all the scenes we'd planned using a variety of shots, however there was one huge problem we didn't account for and that was the sound. The room was incredibly echo-prone and the audio in the footage sounded awful. I tried using a variety of softwares on my computer and plugins on Adobe Premiere Pro however we had no success. I tried adding the scene to the film trailer with the audio changed but my group members didn't think it was good and I agreed. Terrible audio would completely remove the immersion of what is happening. Overall we wanted our film trailer to be the best as possible, and poor audio was not acceptable.

5th January- School
Coming to the realisation that the councelling scene was not going to work, we promtly came up with a variety of different introductions to the film trailer which we could try. We came up with the idea to do a scene in the school. We originally tried to do a scene of the main two protagonists walking down a corridor but in the school we were using it was ineffective. The audio was really echo-prone and there was too much noise because people kept walking past. Instead we did it in the back of the classroom as if we were in lesson.
12th January - Barn
We returned to the barn to shoot some more scenes for our film trailer. With the school scene we needed to add some context so we shot the scene of Dylan (myself) getting out the car and looking into the barn.
